Great but under experienced, Managers with Difficult egos

Great Salary and teams tend to attract hard working people. Work Culture is great, when it is properly understood by your manager. Many over-qualified peers to work with.

Cons

Managers tend to be 'yes' people and tend to look after their reputation before their teams. Tendency to neglect rewarding and recognising people who commit more than they are expected to do.

Pros

Financially sound organization;health benefits are on par with most carriers.

Cons

Poor leadership in most branch offices, regional VPs, and HO is trying to run the company as they would in Australia. US has a very different business style for dealing with customers and employees. Presently there are so many conflicting messages emanating from managers to staff; it is unbelievable. For a company that keeps sending the messages that it wants to be the employer of choice; the actions would not support that mantra. There is much micro-managing taking place adding to employee stress;, vacation days have been reduced; position levels were recently restructured with a broad group at a lowered level; company holidays have been reduced little by little.

Decent benefits, wellness rewards. Great pension until they dropped it in favor of increased 401k contribution.

Cons

Poor communication from Wisconsin to outlying offices. Bonsus cancelled due to currency fluxuations outside the control of employees who met goals.
