Pros

- Managing a lot of money - Recognised name within the Australian finance market - Probably the best work/life balance you will get in finance, short of joining a superfund (unless of course you are in deals).

Cons

- Very political - Hiring choices of younger staff are questionable - Limited career development and specialisation - Widely considered to be low paying for front-office junior roles, but high paying for back office junior roles.
