Pros

This is a company and people you can call a family. A ton of down to earth embedded/OS gurus collaborating with you and joking with you. You are a member of a close community chatting about everything from most serious technical problems/innovations, down to cat cuteness daily. This is a place where you willingly give your 100% devotion in every task, and then having dirty jokes with the VP at lunch time.

Cons

The senior management needs to screw their head straight.

Pros

QNX had a great team feel and great cohesiveness. People were all very kind and welcoming and always willing to lend a hand in training and learning as new problems arose.

Cons

Blackberry in itself doesn't seem to care about the more "homey" environment that QNX tried to convey. They would rather everyone fall in line with their rules (which are usually a downgrade) and then wonder why people leave/get poached easily
