Pros

COM's and COS's are well rounded. Culture is inclusive and inviting.

Cons

Pay is a bit low, no equity and benefits/perks don't really compete with similar companies in the industry.could be much better. Some of the tech's being hired have no relavent experience but still being hired at say level as experienced tech's.

We appreciate you taking the time to highlight the culture at QTS! We are always open to hear how we can make a larger impact in the lives of our employees and the communities we enter. We take our employee benefits seriously and were thrilled to offer $0 premium options for health, dental, and vision insurance this year. Please speak with your HRBP if there are other benefits you think could have additional value-- there are no bad ideas when it comes to investing in our people!

Pros

This company offers one of the strongest benefits packages I’ve seen. Medical (Aetna), dental (Delta Dental), and vision (VSP) premiums are 100% company-paid for employee + family, which is a huge value and not something you find often. Basic plan: deductibles are 4k per person; 8k per family. The 401(k) match is also very competitive: 100% on the first 4% and 50% on the next 2%, totaling 5%. Time off and flexibility are excellent. There are 11 U.S. holidays, 2 floating holidays, and 32 hours of paid volunteer time. PTO is generous and increases meaningfully with tenure: 144 hours for 0–3 years, 184 hours starting in year 4, and 224 hours beginning in year 7. On top of that, employees get 52 work-from-home days per year, which supports real work-life balance. Long-term employees are genuinely valued through the Q-Rest sabbatical program at 5-year milestones: 2 weeks at 5 years, 4 weeks at 10 and 15 years, and 6 weeks at 20, 25, and 30 years. The company also invests in growth and community with $5,250 in tuition reimbursement and a $500 donation match. Overall, the benefits, flexibility, and long-term incentives make it easy to see a future here.

Cons

Like any larger organization, there are processes and structure that can slow things down occasionally. Some flexibility depends on role and leadership, but this continues to improve.
