Pros

Employee discount, benefits, free parking, the corporate campus is nice and updated with a Starbucks inside. Good cafeteria and employee store.

Cons

Very political, they "encourage" feedback but don't really want any constructive feedback. Especially in HR, you will be doomed for speaking up or challenging the status quo.

Pros

The people were great: creative and smart; the pay is comparable to other companies, you are a part of a large community; opportunity for growth and travel

Cons

This is a big one: every day you walk in the door you wonder if it's your last. The job security is unsettling; constant layoffs, people let go at the drop of a hat. I've never experienced anything like it. And if you think it can't happen to you, you're kidding yourself. For that reason alone, makes QVC a troublesome place to work.

Pros

Clean building, good benefits, state-of-the-art equipment to work on. Plenty of parking, some great people work there.

Cons

This place was like working at the Jonestown Cult. They made so much money through dumb luck they have no idea how to manage a company or treat people. The "culture" breeds totally sociopathic managers and I don't use that term casually. The worst people always get promoted-hard workers or decent managers will stay in the same place or eventually get fired. It's not uncommon for a 20+ year employee to have a completely false negative review written about them and be gone 3 months later. It happens all the time there now--no one ever retires there.
