Great Culture, Below Average Pay

Pros

Great work environment. People really put their heart and soul into their work. Lots of talent and good people.

Cons

While the benefits are pretty great (I think they may lean a little too heavily on them), the Editorial Department salaries are WELL below the national/local average. Would love some more respect compensation-wise for what we do, especially since QVC has more copy than most websites.

Pros

30% discount on most of the interesting items QVC sells, a clean, pleasant work environment. Flexible schedules & very good medical/dental plan that is fairly priced. On-site employee store.

Cons

The starting pay is written in stone (very low) for call center positions and the annual raises are minuscule (.30 an hour raise for an above average performance evaluation). Order entry & customer service jobs can be very monotonous and unfulfilling.
