Pros

Cafeteria and employee discount; cafeteria workers

Cons

HR Department and Legal are completely corrupt. The entire place is a filled with politically cliques. Needs to Unionize more than ever. Employees are treated horriblly - and this is from someone who worked in HR and knows what they do to people. Wages are extremely low and no chance for advancement unless you are in the clique the long termers who resist change at all costs. Filed with EEOC against them and tried to Unionize.

Pros

It is a leading employer in Chester County, PA. They have many employment opportunities. They provide generous compensation packages that include excellent pay and benefits. Their employee retention rate is high.

Cons

Their career development processes are lacking. The company is so successful that they are slow to try new technologies or work processes because they have succeeded without them.

Pros

Great health care benefits; Decent pay

Cons

QVC tries to be a good place to work in terms of the overall company values, pay and benefits. However, they will work you to the bone. My experience there was a very negative one- I left each day feeling overwhelmed and exhausted. I also was forced to take work home many nights and weekends just to try to keep up. Their idea of employee recognition is "you're tough- I know you can do it". Translation being- keep working because nothing's going to change. Nothing did change in the several years I was there, in fact, they just added more work. I made the decision to leave when I realized they would never change. I don't recommend this company. They don't practice what they preach- and they do a whole lot of preaching about 'work/ life balance' and company values. I regret working at QVC.
