Pros

QVC does a great job recruiting good people. I worked with some really talented people.

Cons

Unfortunately all the talented and good people end up leaving because of the arrogance of leadership, in particularly in the HR group. I saw some really good people leave in that department. Many of the SVP and VP's throughout the company lack ethics and the HR team is more aligned to them than being neutral.

Pros

Overall, good people to work with. Good training for order entry representatives and decent pay for a call center job

Cons

10 hour long night shift may be convenient for a 4 day week, but no one is going to be at their best for that long of sitting and answering calls. It's bad enough the obscene calls you get at that time of night and you still have to thank them for calling QVC before you are allowed to hang up on them. There are some sick people out there.

Pros

It has a nice cafeteria. It also has a great benefits package. Employees are allowed to surf the Internet when it is not busy. The employee discount is really good.

Cons

The long hours were not good for me. 10 hours is too long for me. I also did not like the way that I was spoken to by the monitors and the supervisors! Sometimes they had me crying. The way that I was terminated does not sit well with me also. It felt horrible to be escorted out of the building. I am not the only one that complained about the way that management spoke to the employees.\ Another thing is that QVC makes it very hard for former employees to find a job or even get a reference to find another job. They are very hush hush. I did not receive a dime of unemployment after being involuntarily terminated by QVC.
