Retaining quality team members does not seem to be a priority, which may just be this particular department.

Not sure how to answer this question honestly since there have been a lot of negatives

Cons

I see thar HR is responding to negative reviews that employees should've contacted HR and mentioning their managers were well trained, but many of these employees did contact HR but because of the good ol boys mentality and perhaps a slap on the wrist to manager, they still proceeded to treat people in an ill manner, so contacting HR is useless. To respond to all the negative responses, Quadient must have hired someone in HR fulltime.

Pay was good. Executive team is friendly.

Cons

Depending on manager there can be a tremendous/suffocating amount of micromanagement. I’ve never experienced anything like it, especially for a salaried/“senior” role. I truly felt like I was in high school in my first retail job. The parent company seems to be trying to do better on Diversity/Inclusion, but it is greatly lacking in the U.S.

Concerning the micromanagement you had experienced, one of our core values is ensuring employees are empowered to do their best work. This past year has been an adjustment period for all of us, with the migration to home offices, and lack of face to face interaction. We're sure that all our managers and employees had different challenges adjusting to this. However, last year we rolled out a comprehensive training program, Smart Work, which provided educational resources to managers and employees on how to adjust to the 'new norm'.
