Pros

Large multi-national corporation with office on almost all continents. Good benefits, interesting technology, good work-life balance.

Cons

The company says they are "service-centered" company, but they are 100% sales oriented and driven. Mediocre sales rep is more valued, rewarded, and recognized than the top technical/software engineer or analyst. The top executives (VP and above) are all revenue insented with big bonuses while employees that are eligible for bonus (MBO) have majority of their bonus be driven by EBIT. Solutions are sometimes deeply discounted so the "revenue" can be shown on books even though the cost of the implemented (delivered) solution sometimes is higher than billable amount! That's just wrong from many business perspectives, except for rewarding the top executives. If numbers are short at the end 2nd quarter or end of fiscal year, layoffs/cuts are the common practice to quickly eliminate expenses and 'hit the numbers'. Lots of top-notch talent was lost due to this practice.

Pros

• hours are flexible • great team

Cons

• the pay is NOT competitive compared to other csm roles • INBOUND CALLS! You have to stay in available for your entire shift and take inbound calls from properties complaining about the product not working properly, along with working 40-50 e-mail complaints simultaneously! The work load is unrealistic and overwhelming. You will also get volun-told to do work outside your job description with absolutely little to no training • no praise or incentives, no matter how much work you do, you will never be good enough • favoritism • overworked • absolutely NO training! You’re set up to fail… • high turnover THIS IS NOT A CUSTOMER SUCCESS ROLE! THIS IS A CUSTOMER SERVICE POSITION! oh, and they’re constantly adding to your list of duties by assigning you work that is outside your job description

Pros

-its a job if you need a paycheck that pays slightly above unemployment

Cons

-Micromanaged to death -invisible upper management(which are way overpaid, and the little guys are paid pennies,,$45K starting salary? are you kidding) -Unrealistic KPIs -Toxic work environment -Do NOT believe all the positive reviews. The company paid an agency to post positive reviews to raise their score. Dont you find it weird that they were all posted at the same time?
