Wages are very competitive, very skill laborers, knowledgeable sales teams, advancement opportunities

Cons

HR is 100% on The Company’s side and not an advocate for the employee. Policy changes are brutal, very slow hiring process, top management seem to have little capacity for issues reviews,

Pros

Relatively good pay and health insurance compared to the power industry as a whole. Can be great engineers on staff to learn from if they stick around long enough.

Cons

Department organization and management is in complete chaos all caused by high turnover rates. Months at a time without a direct manager much less a clear reporting structure for who is leading projects or technical leads in place to ask questions to. VC funding to fuel expansion will be the companies downfall. You can't buy enough smaller engineering firms to replace engineers leaving. The writing is on the wall when engineer owners in upper management are replaced by MBA and investment firm types.
