No room for growth from particular departments, unqualified managers, cliquey and unfriendly staff, HR department is cold and robotic (didn't know terminators could get jobs), nobody cares if your workload is too much, people being disciplined and fired for stupid/nonexistent reasons, promoting only certain cliques/families, extreme nepotism, training department literally has no idea what they're supposed to be teaching, hourly wage but it's basically a salary because you're not allowed to get OT even though they make it impossible for some groups to complete their increased workload throughout the day. I had worked there almost 5 years and saw how awful everything became after HR and cliquey management took over. There was no room for growth in my department yet they wouldn't let any of us leave. We were neglected for several years, meaning we had no department manager. Quantum doesn't care about loyalty or coming to work and getting your job done well and efficiently. All they care about is who is sucking up to them and how they can promote the brown nosers.

If you are a nurse, you WILL NOT work for clinical managers! All of the managers are not only NON clinical but most came from Bob Evans and have no college degree. When I say Bob Evans, I'm talking serving food, not the corporate headquarters. There is virtually no oversight of these managers and they cross the line by trying to interpret and speak upon clinical issues even though they are not licensed to do so. Nurses have extremely limited clinical resources at best. The workloads are unrealistic in many cases. There is very high turnover in the nursing staff which also adds to the growing workload for those remaining nurses. Huge changes have been made to nursing roles with little to no input from the actual nursing staff outside of their select few "yes" people. With those changes came NO training nor pay increase. Rather, nurses are advised to rely on peers for assistance. Peers who themselves need training. Employees with independent thought or opposing viewpoints are frowned upon. There is an open door policy alright. You may as well leave the door wide open when you are discussing concerns with management as word quickly spreads of your sensitive subject matter throughout the building. Vacation time is another issue. You cannot have any holiday time off without going into a lottery system and hoping to be selected. Nursing roles aren't impacted by the call volumes that Patient Service Reps are held to and therefore these new rules for nurses have no merit. It's actually easier to get holiday time off as a hospital nurse than it is here now. The company lacks professionalism, ethics and integrity in my opinion.
