Pros

If you don't mind change, It's an exciting time to be in the healthcare industry. Over the last few years, Queen's has expanded, and so have the opportunities to work at one of Hawaii's top employers. Recent investments in technology have set the foundation for better, more efficient ways of doing things that will ultimately improve the quality of Queen's healthcare delivery.

Cons

Parking on site is non-existent. However, Queen's does offer offsite parking options with an employee shuttle service.

Pros

As a call-in nursing assistant I like the flexibility of my schedule - I need to work a minimum of 2 shifts per month, but can work up to full time hours. I love my coworkers and learn a lot from them. I also like the free on-campus parking for night shift workers.

Cons

We've had a number of broken beds, although we should be getting new ones soon. My unit is older so several of our cabinets are broken as well. Parking policies keep changing which can make finding off-campus parking during day shift confusing.
