Pay rate +$16, retirement, work with diverse departments.

Cons

Management gave unfair/no hours. They are also unfair towards the employees. There would be instances an employee must do multiple tasks by a certain time.

Most of the employees are very friendly, helpful, exuding the aloha spirit. (The tougher employees are won over by consistently excellent service.) The culture is inviting and accepting; a real warm "family" atmosphere. The top priority of every single employee is cooperatively providing excellent patient care, and excellent patient safety. The people who work for Queens Medical Center are very special, they collectively make it the best place I have ever worked. (*note I was employed at the hospital working for an outsourced vendor). I cannot say enough positive things about this wonderful place!

Cons

Only cons were the result of direct employ with the outsourced vendor company, none of which had anything to do with Queen's Medical Center.
