Problems like every facility but overall good place to work

Good pay Good union Free education No forced OT Awesome people to work with in the ED, great management

Cons

A lot of issues with the company not following the union contact. Recently not paying employees correctly, not correcting it until threatened by the union. Company not addressing safety issues. Cannot use “sick” time until the 3rd day of being sick. Recent staff shortages. ED left to fend for its self when staff shortages, extremely rare to see float staff, even sitters, to the ED.

The health benefits were great, and most personalities were good ones. Bad apples made it very hard to enjoy working there.

Cons

Hard to work in a department with unresolved personality and professional conflicts. Ultimately went on to another facility with greater peace of mind.
