Job description - very different than actual job
Pros
*Promotes Native Hawaiian Health *Holiday employee luncheon *Farmer's market once a month *The history of Queen Emma. *It's a good hospital should you ever need care.
Cons
*Secured offices are not really secured! Scary moments when this hospital handles mental health patients. (stronger rules should be enforced). *Parking for employees on the property doesn't exist. The company does offer options of other sites, with shuttle service. QMC is downtown, so parking is a premium in cost. *silos between departments *healthcare is changing, however, many "old-timers" not willing to get on board with "change". *The culture/dynamic might not be for everyone at this company. Note: not a MD or RN *Cafeteria for employees is expensive and it's shared with the community and patients. Pure chaos on a daily basis.
