One year in Quinstreet

I joined Quinstreet on 7-Jan-2015 and left on 23-March-2016. Offered me a hike of 57% and then gave me 10% hike in June-2015. 1. Good lateral and internal hikes 2. Good for freshers. But do not stay with this company for more than 2 years. 3. Opportunity to work with higher management. 4. Finance vertical is good to work with.

Cons

1. Very bad infrastructure. Washrooms are unhygienic. No cafeteria.No smoking zone 2. No process to manage the work. Everything is based on trust. 3. Technologies they are working upon are not recognized in the IT industry. Whatever the tools they are using are in-house tools. 4. No training program for employees, no documentation in any of the projects. 5. People are not groomed.

Cons

Highly toxic work culture, HR policies are too much biased you are not allowed to take off for first 3 months, no compensation for the leave balance, they can sack you anytime. Work life balance is a joke. Stress of not finding a new job is less than stress of working there. You can feel the Micro management in it's purest form. I started having serious mental health issues was working over 13 hours on any given day. Highly unprofessional environment. Not recommended at all.
