Pros
QuinStreet is that rare company that makes sure it has the right people on board for the ride. And that has proven to be a successful formula for its 10 plus years. Their review process is thorough for a reason; it allows for complete professional development. So that it's pretty much a guarantee that when someone leaves QuinStreet (or rather if they leave, because there are quite a few people that stay for years), they will have gained knowledge of the industry as well as valuable analytical, technical and presentation skills. There is opportunity everywhere at the company to add value, from analyst to VP, but only someone with inherent motivation and drive is going to see that opportunity, take it and run with it. People willing to get their hands dirty in the details tend to thrive best. The location is central to the Bay Area, the offices are gorgeous, and the benefits are fine. But above all it's the people that make this a great company to work for!
Cons
There is no downtime or periods of slowdown, and emphasis is too often placed on what's next and not on what everyone has worked so hard to accomplish. Since we've gone public, there is less and less celebrating of victories. The pace is lightning speed, which has contributed to the revenue growth and success of the company. But I've seen many people not able to handle the workload with accuracy or efficiency. It takes a certain breed (not a bad thing in my opinion).
