Pros

A fantastic place to learn about the online marketing industry. QuinStreet is amazing at hiring really smart people and there is a supportive environment for the exchange of ideas. Benefits package is pretty top notch.

Cons

Salaries are not competitive with industry after you have a couple of years of experience. The Database system there is a mess...being an efficient analyst is difficult (helpful data names like "attribute33"...note attribute33 may refer different things depending on the table used to access the data). Brutally long self evaluation process to go through every 6 months. Senior management typically does not buy into ideas unless the submitter of the idea has a Director title or above (of course there are exceptions...just rare).

Pros

Company does a great job growing year over year (even in a down economy) and recently announced they are filing for an IPO. Seems like a good company for somebody with less experience to come in and learn quickly. A few perks including a stocked kitchen and a Holiday party for their employees.

Cons

Not a great place for job security. Fairly widespread layoffs at least once a year (usually twice). Each Division runs like it's own separate company, and communication between different Divisions is not good at all. Company is very secretive, even internally.

Pros

They try and make it a professional environment. There are a lot of smart but inexperienced people that work at QS.

Cons

They are so cheap and access to information and even equipment to do you job is next to impossible. It doesn't feel like a silicon valley company but rather an old stodgy fortune 500 company.
