Pros

Good people to work with. Direct managers were great.

Cons

Middle management I felt bordered on wicked. A number of comments were made in company-wide forum that I felt were very intimidating and I am not easily intimidated. Made me cringe!

Pros

Middle management does the best job it can at supporting employees, given their shrinking, shallow pool of resources afforded them by executive management.

Cons

Executive management is focused on quarterly earnings, internal metrics, and stockholder payouts. Over the past two years, there has been a continuous stream of management changes, layoffs, turnover (talented employees leaving), and remaining employees getting overloaded. On top of that, segments of remaining employees won't even get a basic cost of living raise in 2024 (a raise that they were denied for TWO YEARS to pay stockholders instead), despite healthy profit margins for the company - a very telling executive message that employees are last on the priority list. This is not an atmosphere that any talented consultant would want to work hard to support.

Pros

The consultants and middle management are wonderful to work with and really try to make up for the dismal upper management and corporate failings.

Cons

Past 36 months had an across-the-board raise of 3% during the worse 2 years of inflation in decades. They also eliminated all bonuses, so effectively they gave everyone a massive pay decrease. Multiple waves of layoffs with no communication afterwards. You only find out a coworker is gone through the rumor mill or showing up at a client meeting with absent team members. Basically the Canadian stock price is all that matters to Mike, the owner. If he said Quisitive was employee-centric everyone would laugh (or cry).

Thank you for taking some time to provide your perspective and experiences while part of the Quisitive team. The IT solutions and services sector certainly had its challenges in 2023, and Quisitive was not immune to that. Our leaders had to make some tough decisions to meet those challenges, and as you would expect, there are always lessons learned on how to best handle those situations. Fortunately, our leaders worked through those challenges together to ensure that we have a cohesive team with a common vison and goals as we anticipate a successful 2024. While we may not necessarily agree with some of your feedback, we do consider and appreciate your perspective, as from your viewpoint that was your personal experience. As a company, we always strive to be as good as we can be - a place where our employees have a voice, feel like they are part of a greater team, and are paid fairly with incentives for achieving or exceeding goals.
