Pros

OpenPhone is that one Company that you can never have too much of. There's always an amazing thing every day. This aside, the Company understands the power of its people and they do everything they can to make us; the people, have the best experience working here. So I don't see myself as a staff of OpenPhone, I see myself as one part of the owners building OpenPhone and bringing delightful and powerful business phone to US and Canadian businesses (Oh yes, I do this from my home in Lagos, Nigeria!) And should I say a hate a 'numbered' thing, because it makes everything looks so 'oldish', so I'm not numbering this, of course! But another thing about OpenPhone outside the Company's leadership is the amazing people you'd be sharing your office with (Sorry, did I mentioned my office is mobile? Oh yeah, Slack!). We, the OpenPholks look out for each other. We are one 'Phamily' (Oh, heavens! All pun intended, for sure!) diversified across the world with different time zones who have each other's backs. And yeah, we also care for our physical and extended Phamilies too, our pets inclusive. So in all, you get an all-in-one package signing up for OpenPhone. Our people are amazing, upwardly mobile, talented and sweet. And our management? Well, there's no sir, here. Our CEO is simply Mahyar. It's his name and he wears it with pride. If you cherish your own name too, then come wear it with pride here with us at OpenPhone. In a nutshell, there's no 'pros' working at OpenPhone. You get prossss (with the unlimited "S" meaning amazing benefits and perks) that outweigh what others term as pros. And like we say from where I come from, "the taste of the pudding is in the eating". So, come have a taste and feel of OpenPhone to know what it tastes like to work in an amazing work setting that is redefining the future of work! Pro-Tip: The product we are building, 'OpenPhone' is used by many businesses and professionals across the world to connect their businesses with their network. With our product, many of these professionals and teams can now work even work remotely without the need for a physical workplace. Instead of workplaces, we provide work spaces for you. So if you're yet to try out OpenPhone and you happen to bump into this by chance, well, I'll be glad to have you and see you set up a wonderful workspace for your business. Gracias!

Cons

Okay, here we go! Cons number 1: The Company seems 'unreal'; in that you wouldn't want to wake up from the dream world working here because it's actually a dream. Not to say the Company is 100% perfect, but the conscious effort made by the Management to be better every single day is what counts. And they aren't thinking of 'bettering' themselves only, you are (just like I am) in every thought process the Company is thinking of. So back to it all: I don't want to wake up from this dream of working here at OpenPhone. I'm sure I'll receive a Guinness World Record for the dream that lasted a lifetime!

Best job in my career

Pros

I have worked at many different companies during my 15+ year career, and I can honestly say that working at OpenPhone is easily the best job I have had so far. The culture and values are genuine and flow throughout every team member and every department, salaries and benefits are (in my experience) *actually* competitive, and everyone here is super passionate and talented, eager to share, and even more eager to learn. I'm very proud to say I work at OpenPhone, and I'm super excited for what is in store for the future, for both the company as a whole, as well as my own career path here.

Cons

Not really any "cons" I can think of, aside from the typical growing pains associated with startups at this stage in their journey and growth. I know these are being worked on actively though.
