R1 RCM Coding Manager reviews

If your healthcare organization turns to R1 RCM for revenue cycle management, be very afraid. Half of our coding department was transitioned to R1....1 year later all of those jobs were “cut” and sent to their location in India. A lot of surgical charges are being written off without further follow up with the insurance payer. Our healthcare organization is losing millions of dollars in revenue due to these “write offs”. Run from this company!

Liars. When they take over, they are so syrupy sweet, say everything they think you want to hear to placate you, and promise you that nothing will change. Then, within 6-12 months, you will be laid off and the charts will be sent to India and/or Lithuania. It's a define pattern with them and that is their goal. Of all the coders that were either let go or quit, they didn't replace a single one. Not even the lead coders. Hmm, I wonder why?! Oh, that's right, because their goal is to send all of the charts to other countries. I wonder how the patients of these hospitals would feel if they knew that all of their PHI is being sent to India?
