Pros

-Nice People -Will train you -Demographically varied -Open to new ideas -Solid Pay -Can get stressful, in a good way

Cons

-Mediocre benefits, maybe a little worse than mediocre -Can get stressful, in a bad way -HR will ignore complaints if it hurts any leader, pretty obviously and openly not on the employees side -"Good old boys club", some advancement but helps if you're in with the right crowd early

Selfish and Misogynistic Leadership

Pros

There are some knowledgeable, caring, honest leaders among the management team. When you find them, stay close to them, support them.

Cons

Women are not promoted and are only viewed as back-office administrators. Good managers are constantly under pressure to accept others’ bad behavior or risk their own job security. This is a public company run like a mom and pop, much to its detriment.

Pros

Lots of experience for new fresh out of school Engineers. seeing how manufacturing has evolved, realizing why its being outsourced overseas building a bond with older operators is key to a prosperous life as an engineer real life struggles go beyond career and shapes an engineer's personality

Cons

very little engineering, more like running a sweat shop with out of date process of management. huge gap in generation age. This job is more of a steeping stone into the next job. spend about a year and get out for better pay which can be attained anywhere really. overtime is expected and there is little flexibility since engineers need to be on site during operating hours. "free tuition reimbursement" I've seen people get rejected and told to wait another year simply because they were never clear on their contract non exisiting 401k match
