Pros

RDI offers tons of opportunities from sales to retail inbound customer service. If you are looking to gain various types of experiences and build your resume, RDI is the place for you. RDI is pushing their ELL Well program to new heights and is creating a great working atmosphere for all employees.

Cons

Job transitioning is a very difficult process and would like RDI to help prepare one to enter into their new role with a reliable source or tools to help.

Why do we work?

Pros

RDI has a great atmosphere with great people. They have some of the best managers around. Being a member of the management team, I really enjoyed working with the people I worked with. I enjoyed it so much that I was putting in 10-12 hours a day with no overtime just to make sure my employees and my job were successful.

Cons

Once you reach a certain point in advancement with RDI, you reach a point where they expect you to work every hour of everyday. They would give you "promotions" but then never deliver on the "raise". I had one manager actually tell me, "You must kill the gazelle before you eat it". I'm pretty sure that working 10-12 hours a day and busting my butt for what averaged to be $7.00 an hour would be considered "killing the gazelle". If you just need a job, this place is great, just don't get roped into, "Do you want to be a team lead?" You'll regret it.
