Pros

Everyone is almost guaranteed to get hired. I had no experience when I interviewed and left with a job making above minimum wage.

Cons

I was told I was being hired for an inbound customer service position. I was surprised to find out that was not the case on my first day of training. I was told they start everyone out making outbound sales calls and I would be transferred to inbound customer service in a few weeks at most. I spent the entire year doing outbound sales.

Pros

- RDI has a phenomenal starting hourly rate for people who start off on the phones. I started well above minimum wage, and I believe the current starting rate is around $12 an hour. - It gives you the chance to learn how to work in an office environment. - As a call center employee, you learn multiple programs so your employment is typically quite diverse. You also learn basic selling techniques and can hone them through individual coaching. - On a sales level, there are plenty of incentives including games and monetary incentives.

Cons

- You really have to push for the chance to move up in the company. Hard work doesn't necessarily get you there; you have to learn how to manage office politics in your favor.

Pros

Co Workers are the best. A lot of activities are done through the company i.e. chili cook off, costume contest, company picnic etc.

Cons

Company is more concerned about their money than their employees. Pay raises are seldom. Promotions are only available if you're a brown noser or throw a fit to get your way.
