Pros

Worked with some great people at REI

Cons

Leadership is undecisive and lacked ability to develop long term strategies. Company is very reactive to market changes versus being proactive.

Pros

Benefits, discounts, pro deals, co workers

Cons

Leadership clearly fails upwards. the company does nothing for accountability of management, even if there are multiple complaints against them. No upward mobility unless you are willing to dedicate decades

Pros

* Good mission: A life outdoors is a life well-lived * IT is relatively keen to new technologies * Employee discount * Work/life balance

Cons

* Low pay compared to industry standard. * A private company means no ESPP, RSU, or stock options. * High premium for high deductible medical, dental, and vision insurances. * No WFH allowance. No gym membership allowance. * Lots of self-righteous arrogant liberals whose only approach with everything is "my way or highway".
