Pros

Great benefits but only for employees

Cons

Employees (non-management) at HQ and DC locations are being replaced by contractors since the pandemic. Standards for contractors are lower so it brings down morale of employees and sometimes increases their workload. Especially after several round of layoffs in recent years, it’s becoming increasingly clear that employees are expendable.

Pros

Good work-life balance, great discounts, fun workplace, not too stressful, training opportunities, diverse and welcoming, accruals for sick/vacation time are decent, no work on Black Friday

Cons

Training opportunities are mostly on your own time and few training hours provided, pressure to sell memberships constantly, pay above other retail places but lower than living wage despite the facade of being a company that takes care of its employees, few opportunities for advancement/a lot of competition for few leadership opportunities.
