Thank you for adding your voice! We are glad to see you recommend REI, specifically for factors like management, as well as work environment and work/life balance. These are partly due to our disciplines around project planning, flexible approach to work schedules, and our hybrid model. Nevertheless, there are certain realities that are common to government contracting, though we also find great satisfaction in our service to the public sector. Similarly, while we offer a standard PTO plan, we understand there may be some who would prefer a different model. It would be interesting to know what waterfall characteristics you may have experienced, as all of our delivery teams operate according to Agile software development practices, as guided by our Delivery Excellence framework.
