Pros

Revolve does a very good job at taking care of their employees with good pay (Better than the majority of bigger companies), benefits and of course the discount. Oh how can I forget the free company lunches on Thursdays! The company provides flexible hours which allows you to continue school which is a big plus!

Cons

I would say the system we work on can be very annoying as it always goes down and can stay down for awhile causing work to pile up. But Revolve is growing at an extreme rate and I am sure the system will improve.

Pros

Revolve is a strange company, from first glance it has a very “start up” feel, they tell you about how they get free lunches on thursday and that there is always beer on tap. They have cool hangout area in the center with magazines and couches, couple that with cool co-workers and a deep discount on merchandise and it gives you the illusion that the company cares about you.

After a few weeks/months at revolve, you will begin to notice the true nature of it. Most of the “free” things are just selling points to justify the poor pay structure. I would much rather get paid more and buy my own lunches and beer. Its all their to provide the illusion that the company cares for its employees, they even go as far as say they have an open door policy, but HR is powerless to affect any real changes.

The grunts are expected to work extended hours and even during the weekends, but there is no real motivation to do a good job because moving up is nearly impossible. The pay raises are pathetic and not worth staying for a review, this company is only good if you're just starting out and just need somewhere to be for a year to get experience.

They can't hold onto their good employees and dont care to. If you have any qualities of a go getter, revolve isn't for you, ambition and good work ethic isn't valued here and you best work somewhere else.

From my personal experience, when I quit revolve to work at a new company, the company said I was the first person in their 2 months of looking to meet the high standards they required. I got paid nearly double, our lunch meetings are at restaurants (well over the $5 limit revolve sets for its free lunches per person), the company takes us out to baseball games and trips to vegas. We have a better medical plan and 401k up to 8% matching. We get better vacation options and sick days too.

The cons? the new company doesn't have as cool employees, we dont have revolve and forward’s sweet discount (just keep contacts and use their discounts), and we dont have get free beer, but if you're getting paid more at ANYWHERE else (maybe not forever 21) you can meet your friends after and get a beer. Easy Peasy.

PAY VACATION TIME 401k / Benefits NO UPWARD MOBILITY
