While the company has a very relaxed and laid back culture, this is a trait common in the majority of businesses in the retail fashion industry. As mentioned in other reviews, the biggest problem here is nepotism. Of course the people, the human capital, are the strongest assets in the company and that is why the company is evolving so fast. However, favoritism within the select few at the company is very discouraging for 1) new hires and 2) the "out" group. I've been at REVOLVE for a few months now and still have a hard time fitting in. I'm no doubt working with great individuals; however, the lack of bonds I've formed in the company makes me unmotivated. It's hard doing a great job when there is a lot of favoritism and a high school esque feel of which employees are "cool" and which are not.
On a side note, if you want a work life balance, say goodbye to that. Everyone here grinds hard. If you think you're a hard worker, expect to take it to the next level at REVOLVE.
