Stressful and low pay

Pros

Not a whole lot of good reasons to work here. They let you accumulate PTO days, so you can cash out when you quit

Cons

Pay started at $23 an hour. You don’t get weekends off. You get penalized for taking a sick day.

Pros

Looks good on your resume

Cons

They will overwork you and gaslight you and underpay you." People first" but forget simple details like your birthday lol. they only care about themselves, and their career. Luxury company that doesn't pay their employees a livable wage. They want you to do multiple roles at once and not get paid for it. If you want to move positions they make you do it for weeks for free because they need help without promoting you while they find someone else from outside of the company to take the position they said you would get. Managers don't care if customers abuse you, They give away thousands of dollars to customers that curse you out but they cant give 1% commission to their design consultants. Embarrassing!

Pros

Interesting projects and work. In my time working there I met a lot of amazing people.. sadly many of them have left, been fired (for no reason), or retired

Cons

Terrible management, absolutely awful. Many people in high positions that have no idea what they are doing... You will work long hours.. and weekends… often. It’s expected. You’ll have Christmas and Thanksgiving off.. The turnover is like nothing I’ve ever seen. You will be working with someone and the next day, they are gone. It’s hard to get anything across the finish line with quality with that fact. Lots of brilliant people working there that get very little mentorship, direction or support from their leaders. It often seems like no one knows what they are doing. Projects and deliverables of large initiatives like source books get put on hold because the CEO goes on vacation. We got a 1% merit increase last year while the leadership team chartered the private jet and opened several stores while our business and economy was down. RH will run you into the ground and then get rid of you. Run, don’t walk.
