Pros

There is a work-life balance. You work with a dynamic and young team. It is an easy job to do. There is no ground to improve your skills and abilities. You will be in charge of specific modul/ functionality within the company (Cost Management). As a developer, product manager or consultant your task will cover every aspect of cost management related topics to software. But it is limited to this topic. You can give training and workshops to the customer for 10 years without any change in your content. It is an easy job if you want to relax, but if you are searching for a challenge, you won't find any. I can recommend the job for 6-12 months period.

Cons

The upper management level of the company is promoting a dream to the market. But the end product is not even close to that dream. Marketing department depicts the new cloud software of the company as a high-end product ( e.g. Tesla Model S), but the current development level of the product is not even close to the testing phase of Software Development Life Cycle ( e.g.a Russian Lada). later dissatisfaction starts. Even though, philosophy of the company promotes digitalization in the construction industry, and ‘running together’ phrase is used in every cheap narrated English promotion vides, there is no internal communication structure/ knowledge management in the company (domestic and international aspect). Another striking point is the training and workshop policy of the company. The company offers many possibilities for customer and external contacts regarding software training usw. However, there is no job training (Einarbeitung) for new employees. Management does not care about internal employee development. On the other hand, as a product manager, you can give a training on the specific topics to current/ potential customers after one or two months in the company.

Pros

You are somewhat responsible for your line of work. You get support by the colleagues from Asia. You get a company car.

Cons

Expectation Management is not realistic. Business Plan of whole company is not realistic and not achievable. Solution is not in use at one single customer. No reference customers. The Vision of top management not even realized at one location all over the world. Top Management sells an unrealized idea to their customers. Lots of internal politics make it impossible to work or to achieve goals. Even if you find a customer you need to first check if you are allowed to sell because the mother company RIB is competition which makes the internal working environment even more uncomfortable and complex. Stingy travel approval politics. Hindering processes internally and externally. If goals are not reached in an unrealistic time frame you will get fired. Employees and Managers lying in your face. This was the worst job experience I ever had! S T A Y A W A Y!
