      Pros

      The greatest environment, tremendous benefits, and the blessing of being amidst bright, ambitious students. The campus is a wonderful place to spend one's workdays.

      Cons

      The hypocrisy of many who manage the place. Legal limitations and biases have led to unfair work practices (i.e. Affirmative Action policies and DOUBLE STANDARDS which reward minorities, regardless of their acumen or ethics). Innocent, honest workers sometimes are the victims of reverse discrimination.

      Pros

      If you like extreme peace and quiet work here. There are opportunities to grow in learning and experience.

      Cons

      Rochester is dull and boring and down beat. State tax here is MASSIVE and so are property taxes. Expect 10000 a year on a 250,000 dollar house. The weather is terrible and staff turnover is significant.

      Pros

      Professional experience. Loved working with students and faculty on a regular basis. RIT is also a very green campus which is really nice.

      Cons

      The weather is terrible in Rochester if you don't like the snow. There isn't always a ton of room for growth but more shuffling around.
