Pros

Having worked in the commercial insurance industry for 25 years with several carriers, I highly recommend this company as an employer due to their management philosophy, employee focus/compensation and financial strength

Cons

RLI is a niche market carrier that not as well known as some of the other larger commercial carriers

Great Organization

Pros

RLI was a breath of fresh air for me after years of working in a different, but related field. The organization is very community-focused, with a lot of employee perks and freedom. At first, I was surprised that it was set up this way, as I thought it would hurt the company's bottom line. However, after having more time in the company, I have found that the sense of community they foster increases productivity and engagement that more than offsets the costs.

Cons

I'm not in the home office, so I don't get to engage with as many of the perks as those working there do, but I love my teammates at my satellite office, so this is a minor "con" overall.
