Awesome culture! RLI has an incredibly committed employee/owner focus. Everyone I have met is so inviting, and truly wants you to be successful. It is true that people at RLI are smart, helpful, encouraging, disciplined, focused and driven to make RLI successful. It is also such a fun work environment where you are challenged and encouraged to bring forward new ideas.

RLI's corporate culture allows employees the freedom to set their own appetite (within reason) and do what is necessary to write profitable business. The total compensation package is like no other in the industry and the bonus program is based on completely objective metrics (no managers playing favorites). Middle and upper management is by far the most competent I have ever worked for. And, we really know how to have fun as a group!

Cons

There is no downside working at RLI. I enjoy going to work every day.
