Pros

Talented and nice staff members, flexible workplace condition.

Cons

Working at Roller was not an enjoyable experience for me. The company let about 8 people go in one day in what I thought was a unprofessional manner. One by one, people were brought into an office with an open glass door so everyone could see inside and they were then let go. There were people very emotional and in tears. While layoffs sometimes happen, I felt it was executed very poorly. Bringing people into a completely exposed office one after the another is not a good way to send these workers off, some of which have given a lot to the company.

Pros

So much you can do and learn. You have control on where you want to go within the company after you learn the basics. Team environment. Over communication is key for your success here. Opportunity to meet amazing people from different spaces. The product is amazing. The people are amazing.

Cons

With every start up, comes with growing pains. I’m sure it has gotten better over time but I do wish we were more organized during my experience there. The cons are good cons to say the least depending how you look at.
