There is no positive thing except location

Cons

- Micro-management at its peak, there will be one-on-one's conducted if a person were to leave 5 minutes early or arrive 5 minutes late - Extreme pressure with extra workload - No appreciation - Bias on sex and especially race, only favourites get appreciated and a promotion - Lowest pay in the market for a tech-company - Socializing with co-workers is frowned upon and acting like a robot is encouraged - Management likes to harass new hires and gossips about employees regularly - One person in this team became suicidal and encountered extreme depression due to pressure to perform with an impossible deadline. - New methods are frowned upon and only the 19th century methods are followed due to baby bloomers handling the management - No work/life balance , most of the team spends weekends at office

- Similar to most of the other comments, this is a revolving door of employees - high turnover rate - Little training, your success here depends on your ability to talk to the senior employees and learn from what little documentation is available - Little career opportunities - Little feedback from managers

Pros

The people are friendly and if you're new, they are willing to help. Located conveniently close to Union Station, 2 minute walk from subway

Cons

Company doesn't use Microsoft Office (or they're too cheap to do so). Senior Analysts entrenched in their positions but compared to other companies I've worked for, they are near the bottom of the barrel. Revolving door policy with as many employees leaving as coming. If you are knowledgeable about the PMBOK or BABOK, this place is NOT for you as they have their own standards. No training offered whatsoever when I started, although there was some by the time I left. They micromanage with the best of them, somebody is over your shoulder making sure you log every minute of your time. Unrealistic expectations, some projects expected to be analyzed and documented in less than an hour.
