Pros
Worked at RTI from 2004-2010. Didn't have too many complaints overall. I felt like they treated employees more or less fairly. I worked on one of the biggest projects the company has, which brought stability and security, but got monotonous after a while. Some people complained about the pay, but all in all I thought it was acceptable, and the bennies were pretty good.
Cons
The fact that moving up in the organization seemed to depend so much on doing things like serving on social committees and doing proposal work drove me nuts, particularly since every time I tried to get on proposals either a) there weren't any, or b) it seemed like the people I was assigned to work with would just do all the work themselves without involving me.
