Pros

Good pay. Missile Systems has a lot of business right now so it seems like a stable place to work (for now).

Cons

Parking and office space sucks. They are moving to a "lily pad" configuration where you have several people in a space. People are quitting over this. Management needs to start thinking outside of the box. We have several products/markets locked up right now but we are getting lazy. We need to inovate so we can continue to keep those markets and grow into new ones.

Pros

The economy for a defense contractor is very good now, being we are in a recession, and the cost of living is higher. Raytheon provides spport for our military. So as long as there is war in the world today, you will need someone to make the weapons/ and technology for war

Cons

They do not invest much into commuting into work and home.

Pros

Flexible work hours - folks are allowed to work from home on Mondays and Fridays which helps on the cost of commuting into the office. Everyone is equipped with the latest laptop and docking station which gives lets you move around. THe office has wifi connectivity as well. The benefits are really good and the company offers some good perks as well such as discounts to local entertainment venues.

Cons

With all of the flexibility in working from home there is an extreme lack of teamwork here. Its obvious that not a lot can get accomplished in the 3 days of folks being in the office. Projects seem to take a very long time to complete. Folks don't seem to have the same sense of urgency. Its a lot like working for the government in that it is very slow and bureaucratic.
