      Always busy Nice looking offices Friendly people

      You're just a faceless cog in a giant corporate machine Soulless place to work Everyday is the same Promotions are based on favouritism not ability Middle management can be bullies but the directors do nothing even if you take your complaint directly to them, I saw one guy who had been there years actually break down and cry due to bullying and he received no acknowledgment or thank you for his service when he left. Chet Burchett wouldnt even acknowledge my email about it which shows how much they care despite proclaiming to have procedures in place to stamp it out. Open plan office essentially is a panopticon like environment where nobody can really interact.

      Poor leadership - heaven for contractors

      Pros

      Leadership is inept and ignorant - contracts are having a field day. Certain leaders have shares in the contracted agencies - clear conflict of interests are brush under the carpet.

      Cons

      Very poor and inept leadership. No real experience outside of Reed Expo. They love the sound of their own voice - they are bleeding the company dry with bad decions and arr getting away with it.

      Pros

      I've met some great people at reed, 90% of the business value is delivered by a small handful of people who are great at their disciplines and just nail it. Competitive financial package. Great location

      Cons

      There are no thought leaders here, no one in the senior management team is capable of commanding leadership by their understanding of the modern world of technology. Reed employs layers upon layers of managers that for most are only concerned with expanding their own mini empires. I've learnt a lot here about bad practice, bad process and no accountability. CIT operates like a software house of the dot com bubble, hack it, deploy it, high fives all round. Then spend the next 6-12months helping it limp to success.
