Apalling company culture with no progression

Location, agile working and car park.

Cons

If you are looking to progress your career in marketing, this is not the place. High rotation of personel, almost 70% of the marketing team has resigned due to the new structure. People are overworked and with no support from their line managers. Too many middle men leading and the few below doing the work for them to shine. The culture is toxic and the number of people requiring medical help due stress has spiked in the last year. Targets for marketing are totally unrealistic and under the new structure marketing roles are pure admin.

Very friendly people, nice location, good modern office, agile working, enjoyable job (before the change ah least), world class events, fun at work

Cons

Unclear ways to progress after the restructuring, treat people as algorithms based on bizarre surveys that change their jobs workout asking, low wages compared to other companies

Pretty good work life balance, location in Richmond is very nice.

Cons

Its so corporate that you barely have any decision making over the work you do. Office politics are rife in this business. You are either with them or against them, so if you are not saying the right things they will let you know.

Oh dear, not sure how to respond. All firms have some politics, its not my experience that Reed Exhibitions is particularly political, however, the point is we must strive to be better if there are pockets. Sorry your experience is different to mine.
