Good company for college students

Best reasons to work for Race Trac include.........(1) work flexibility (as a student); Most managers are likely to give time off accordingly. (2) Decent pay for a college student considering what else is out there. (3) Helps you deal with a large variety of individuals; this could serve a a major plus in communicating with "teams" in one's career

Cons

Downsides of working for Race Trac include.....(1) Having to work holidays including Thanksgiving! (2) Long evening shifts (3) Having to deal with a large variety of customers some of which are not favorable (4) Middle management are sometimes inconsiderate of employee needs.

Fast-paced environment where great customer service is stressed. Promotions generally come from within. Senior management is accessible and responds quickly to issues.

Cons

Infexibility in the work schedule. Very little chance for overtime. Slightly lower than average pay and bonus structure. No real ability to manipulate or control inventory to better serve the region or store's customers--or help maximize store earnings.
