Pros

People are great, smart and make themselves accessible; fairly "flat" organization so very little hierarchy and status to navigate; ability to work on a broad selection of projects/initiatives spanning media, metrics, SEM/PPC, web work, employment branding, research etc.; over the last few years, it's clear management is taking employee feedback to heart - lots of positive change and a true effort to listen and take action for an improved work environment.

Cons

Aside from great PTO and medical/dental benefits, others are pretty weak and come and go frequently, sometimes without warning (i.e. no longer matching 401K arbitrarily); management is short-sighted, sometimes, when it comes to resourcing account teams appropriately - creating skeleton crews for some of our largest global customers; systems and processes are getting A LOT better, but still have a long way to go for efficiency.

Nightmare on TMP Street

Pros

Stable company with a good external reputation. There was never any concern of financial instability. There are a few qualified leaders within the organization.

Cons

Super politically charged environment where backstabbing and selling out your team are rewarded. Turnover is constant and disruptive to an already broken process where creative teams are non-local and do not understand the climate of the other offices. Some local offices are a carnival rather than a place to work allowing crazy "personal relationships" to transpire in the office. Buyer beware.

Pros

TMP has the products, and there are a few brilliant minds to help them along, if they stay.

Cons

The company manages in denial. It's all about the numbers here...at the sacrifice of the employees...and, shockingly, the clients. If a bad apple in the org has a friendly inside track to executives, those executives will allow him / her to tank the team or account with no consequence. The execs just need you to fill their pockets...that's all...and will turn a blind eye at every corner. The favors do get returned at times however. It's known that there are at least 2 offices where a good number of people fall asleep during large company conference calls...
