Pros

Radford is a tight knit community, you can gain experience in a number of areas across campus because of the size, there are always opportunities for growth, you can further your education while you work here, you can truly make a difference for students, and the campus is beautiful.

Cons

Radford is behind the times in a lot of ways, the university does not always "walk the walk" when it comes to its values (particularly in diversity and sustainability), many staff members lean conservative and are afraid of being bold and innovative, being a "second choice" school means that many alumni employees have a chip on their shoulder, and the town is very boring.

Low pay and no benefits while part-time. I wish that I could have a reduction in tuition cost.
