Pros

There are no pros at this time

Cons

Management freaks out if they don’t know what you’re doing. Having your camera on is a HUGE deal for them. They also lie in the interview to get you to join them. Be very careful with this company.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I’m sorry to hear that you’re feeling this way. With over 350 staff members across 6 countries and 33 U.S. states, creating connections and fostering a positive company culture is very important to us. One way we encourage this is by having cameras on during meetings to help team members engage and build relationships. We also offer various engagement initiatives, such as our wellness club, cooking club, pet club, music club, and travel club, to promote connection and teamwork. If you're open to it, we would love to discuss your experience further. Please feel free to contact me or anyone in our HR department at 949-876-6747 or at hr@railbookers.com. Best Regards, Ja' Net McGhee Employee Engagement Manager

Pros

Remote work. The opportunity for decent money is there. You talk about vacations all day long.

Cons

Zero honesty or transparency about the job during the interview or training process. Once you’re “on the floor” you realize it’s a customer service role and not a sales role. The expectation is to work customer service during your work hours and work the sales piece off the clock. Search customer and travel agent reviews about booking with Railbookers.

Thank you for sharing your comments with us. As you mentioned, our fully-remote, work-from-home roles allow account executives to be successful financially while enjoying their work in the travel industry. This consistently ranks among the top feedback we hear from our staff as well as reasons why candidates are interested in joining us. In fact, many of our candidates become among our top performers shortly after completing our comprehensive training program. At Railbookers Group, our commitment to delivering exceptional service spans across 5 countries and 34 states, with a team of over 300 dedicated staff members. Our Account Executives play a crucial role in ensuring seamless experiences for our customers, from initial inquiry to travel arrangements, fostering long-term relationships along the way. This dedication to excellence defines the essence of being an Account Executive at Railbookers Group and contributes significantly to both their individual as well as the company’s success. We maintain transparency in our policies regarding work hours. While working “off the clock” is not condoned, there are opportunities for overtime approved by our Workforce Management team. We prioritize compensating employees for their time and ensuring fairness in scheduling practices. In short, if working beyond your scheduled shift is required, we want to ensure it is approved in advance, so you are paid for that time. If you are open to it, we’d like to get more information about your specific experience. Please feel free to contact me at 978-778-3440 to discuss. Thank you, Nick Kozlowski, Director – Railbookers Sales
