Rain Bird does not fully embrace technology. The succession planning process is humorous at best and contributes to the turnover. The secretism is rampant and information sharing between departments is non-existant. There have been many cases where senior management has absolutely no idea what their employees do on a daily basis. This extends to processes, reports, and general job descriptions. Just as in many other companies, the employees truly run the business but I have never experienced the disparity of knowledge between job levels.
