      Pros

      Rain Bird will allow you the freedom to develop your role and responsibilities to best fit your career aspirations. Rain Bird will also provide you the flexibility to manage your work/family time to accompany your needs. The company is very focused on hiring self motivated individuals that are driven to succeed.

      Cons

      Too many tasks and responsibilities for particular positions.

      Culture of turnover hurts Rain Bird

      Pros

      The company is the Irrigation leader in the industry. They have great products, great manufacturing. Typically, they care about the customer and want to provide the best. The type of sales work and being able to work with the end-user made it a great career.

      Cons

      There was way too much turnover. In last 5 years with the current sales manager, 100% of the outside sales force has turned over. There is no way that should be happening. Current manager is not liked by just about everyone and has a lousy reputation with customers. Experience doesn't count anymore. Fear factor of losing job is affecting employees. Reputation of company is hurt because of this.

      Pros

      Money is the only reason to work here.

      Cons

      Lack of information from upper management, and the lack of respect for past knowledge on similar issues. They would rather make the same mistakes than take advise from someone who has already been through it.
