      Pros

      The people...coworkers are by far a joy to work with.

      Cons

      Promised room for advancement, but no proof. Technology is behind the times. Turn over is too high to accomplish senior staff "goals". The SBUs do not work together. No sense of community at the Bird.

      Pros

      They hire good, smart and nice, people. If you are the right person there are lots of opportunities. The people there are really smart and you can learn a ton from them. Rain Bird gives you "enough rope to hang yourself with" which is great if you want to try new things and are open to risk.

      Cons

      Tough envirnoment, crazy hours, travel. You need to into it 100% and be willing to sit through MANY meetings! If you don't fit with the corporate culture it is tough. I have seen really good people be treated really poorly. Sometimes people with the best ideas don't "fit" well.
