Great culture; helpful coworkers; open office space; dedication to quality; smart people; flexible hours; fair pay; limited office politics; training provided; ability to work from home sometimes.

Cons

Seems like the company and R&D dept. are still trying to find the right way to do things; company is not yet profitable

Thanks for your insights. It’s always nice to hear when people think we’re doing well (so thanks for that!) but we also appreciate your feedback on how we can continue to improve. As you know, we’ve made great strides in the last few years and don’t plan on slowing that down anytime soon.

Open Space Environment Liberty Village is not an exciting place

We appreciate your kind words! An open office environment definitely isn’t for everyone and can prove challenging at times but we do feel that it affords us the ability for increased communication and transparency, two things that we’re very passionate about at Kobo.

Pros

Fast Paced, Hard Working, Friendly. Constantly looking for a new challenge. Pay is good and willing to grow junior people into senior contributors.

Cons

Grew too quickly and resized without enough though about how it should take place. Poor controls on Senior People that run the show to keep them locked in place and keep retention but very good intensioned
