Pros

It's a relatively basic structure to be successful in the job. I worked in Boston in the interview they'll even tell you it's a "work hard, play hard" office, and it certainly is. With little effort you'll really feel like part of the team. It's very young and fun environment.

Cons

If you don't do well immediately, it's very easy to get lost in the shuffle. There's little immediate oversight in terms of day to day work. The play hard culture can bleed into the professional environment. If you hate making phone calls, this is not a job for you. You can make a lot of money if you make a lot of deals, but base salary is very very low. The system incentivizes people who stay with the company the longest, so their retention rate has got to be pretty low.

Pros

The minimum of five words do not come to mind

Cons

Power-tripping staffing agents hold no credentials/education/background for being in such positions effecting other people's livelihood. Instead, they utilize candidates as any other "resource" not unlike a used pen, and those candidates deemed less likely to provide agents with commission are paraded around for judgment on if "too old" and avoided when candidates continue to seek opportunities.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a Glassdoor review. We are sad to hear that you experience was so bad that you couldn't think of one "Pro" so we want to address this. If you can, could you please email us at digital@randstadusa.com with specific issues and concerns in which to make us better? We would like to hear more of your experience and possibly get advice we can share with management. Thank you.

Pros

Healthcare is excellent and largely subsidized if you elect the enhanced plan. Employee Stock Purchase Plan offers a 50% match, highest I've ever seen. 401k is offered with matches occurring as you go as opposed to year end match.

Cons

Absolutely no training offered, other than general online modules. Turnover in each operating company differs but in ours it was north of 60% PER YEAR. No formal reviews, no career mapping. Randstad is losing overall market share to more aggressive and nimble competitors. Culture at Randstad is confusing as each operating company operates in a different silo. Zero flex time or remote work for those with children- ZERO.
